R.L. Albert & Son, Inc. was founded in 1916 by Robert Lawrence Albert in Manhattan, New York. Originally established as an importer of gourmet foods and European specialty products, the company has evolved into one of the most enduring family-owned candy businesses in the United States. Now with Ernest Albert as the fourth generation of the family to serve as President of the company, the company continues into our second century with a forward-thinking vision while maintaining our core customer and consumer driven principles.
